One way we show Jesus that we love Him is by telling other people that He loves them and wants to save them from their sin. I want you to think of one person you want to tell about Jesus. Maybe it’s someone in your family or a friend or neighbor who doesn’t know that Jesus is the Saviour. First You have to prepare a lunch paper sack or handmade paper sack. Saul’s Eyes: Let the children color the face. Then help the children cut out the various pieces. Tape the verse and parent section on the same side of the sack as the name tags from the Life Application time. Tape Saul’s face to the other side to make a puppet, leaving the top open to insert the blinders. Now you have a puppet of Saul. Let’s tell the story together. Let children work with their puppets as you narrate the story. Perhaps you could help your child understand the blindness Saul experienced. Simply blindfold your child in a safe area, move around as you talk, and have him or her come to you. Or a game, such as “Pin the Tail on the Donkey,” would be another way to demonstrate blindness.
